Is that an Illusionary Rod, or are you just happy to see me?

Back to the orginial question before we diverted would it be possible to see one of you guys and get a screenshot with one of you. Pavorium has been a major help and I would like to get a screenshot of me and him togather to put on my desktop to show friends :)

I'm afraid that we must remain elusive, Adx, mere figments of your fevered imagination; as mirages are to a desert, so are we to the forums. ;)

Speaking of cookies, I have a rather embarrassing anecdote to share. In the interest of comedy, I will be as forthcoming as possible.

During a particular Hellfire run last night, one our pulls went horribly awry, causing nearly 8 Fel Orcs to pounce on our group of 5 wayward travelers. The tank quickly departed, the rogue not far behind, and I was without aggro mitigation and managed to attract 3 of the bunch. Oh, rapturous day!

Fortune smiled upon us, however, as the Warlock within our group was able to apply a Soulstone prior to my character's untimely, though inevitable death. I cheered, as did the remainder of our small party, and the wipe was called.

I feel it important to note at this time that I had yet to consume anything nutritious that evening and was in the throes of hunger pains as this particular run progressed; in the name of advancement, I'd sacrificed my plans for dinner, deeming an efficient honor grind to be paramount to that of a well-balanced meal. This said, I'm not one to ignore primal instinct, and viewed my party's collective slaughter to be an opportune time to grab a snack.

Little did I know that cookies would be so damning.

Being the polite player that I am, I'd warned my peers of my brief departure, typing a casual "BRB, lawl" in group chat as the Warlock and secondary Rogue vainly attempted to regain control of the superfluous pack of aggro'd mobs. Upon my return, I was greeted by four corpses (as suspected) and the familiar "You Have Died" screen, complete with "Release Spirit" and "Use Soulstone" selections.

I moved my mouse to the "Use Soulstone" button, happy that I'd grouped with a competent Life Tapper; in the process, however, I regrettably caught partial glimpse of my newly-acquired stack of sweets.

"Ooh, oreo!"

Guess what: I forgot. Did you ever forget? It happened to me.

Instead of clicking "Use Soulstone," I reverted to instinct and hit "Release Spirit," dooming my guildmates to a horrible corpse run.

Thankfully, the rest of party noted that oreos were an acceptable distraction, and dismissed my folly. Regardless, I wore the "Special" hat for the rest of that instance. :P

Ooh, what's the "special hat" for your group, Syndri?

The druid was, henceforth, provided the Soulstone.

Don't blaspheme, Merdrah; it's so pedestrian. Mock, perhaps. Or subtly undermine. ;)

Well, while hurling was a bit precluded due to location, I can say that, although I didn't know how many Fel Orcs it would take to kill my little character, I knew how many they were going to use. :P

Locks may be considered OP, but huntards are the n00bs.

I play a druid and mage. What are they considered? :D

Depends, what kind of Druid?

Feral, currently. I like being a tank! :)

Q u o t e:
I've not heard anything about mages in PvP believe it or not. They seem to be pretty even throughout the comments.

Oh, I don't PvP — I'm a hardcore Care Bear. Which, actually, is apt, since I spend half my time in Bear Form...

Sorry, Pav, but Syn has just squeaked by you in my "Highly Respected" tree. Quick, do something to catch up!

Hmm. I'll see what I can do. ;)

Do they call you Syndri "Darter Salad" Sprite?

I find this quite hard to believe, I would have truly thought you were Balance specced...hmmm...pesky avatars.

I'm not high-level enough to get Moonkin Form yet, but I do intend to try it out once I hit 40. It would be particularly apropos, don't you think? ;)

Nice try Pav, but I think to outdo Syndri's SS faux pas you'll have to make some kind of a reference to Sluggo.

Apparently, they were wiping every group running that particular instance with Syndri, and that's profiling, and profiling's bad.
