How do I reset my authenticator/

My Mobile Authenticator's codes do not work anymore, because I reinstalled my Blackberry Pearl due to a problem with the phone.

I tried logging into Account Management, but it also requires authenticator codes, that DO NOT WORK. THat is the place where I reestablish my connection to my account and ensure a working authenticator.

My 8-digit codes do not work, and I cannot implement my 12-digit codes because Account Management wants the 8-digits that wont, and will never work.

I know all the answers to my billing questions except my "Secret Questions". This account is 3 years old. How am I supposed to remember the answers for those questions down to the exact letter/

If this issue cannot be resolved, then I lost two level 80's, and a level 72. And I want my subscription cancelled immediately. Because I can't stop the billing due to the not-working authenticator codes. Only you guys can.

Mobile's are a little different. You need to be very careful if you ever reinstall because it WILL give you a different serial number.

I also recommend anyone with a mobile jot their serial number down someplace SAFE. Note...safe is NOT on your computer :)

Jot it in the back of a phone book, address book, check book - somewhere secure where even if someone stumbled across it they wouldn't know what it was.

That can be quite helpful in this situation.

Which is why I want to know, whether or not there is a immediate Do-It-YOurself solution for this.

No, there isn't.

If there was it would greatly compromise the usefulness of the authenticator.

It's purpose is to keep people OUT that do not have it. If there was a simple method to remove it, phishes would gather that information and then it would be rather pointless.
