I Am Sincerely Shocked

So, I just finished posting a rant thread ( http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2353107443 ), only to find it locked quicker than it could have realistically been read by a speed reader who started the moment I posted it.

I can possibly fathom a couple of reasons why my thread might have been locked, but I mean, subtract time required to actually read a post, and then time required to consider for a few seconds whether or not it should be locked, and you end up with what seems to be an automated response based on terms used in the given thread.

Posts that are moderated have a reason behind the moderation. It's up to you to read the forum Code of Conduct and these guidelines to determine what you did wrong, learn from your mistake, and attempt to post again without breaking any rules.

Before it's posted, I already know about this rule. Nothing I did in my post warranted a knee-jerk lock. What more, I have sincere doubts that it was even subject to human judgment; this seemed strictly automated, and I would really like to know what set off the auto-lock code, even though I can probably form a guess.

Hello When. We are trying to consolidate discussion threads and keep things organized.

Unfortunately, that means some threads with useful feedback may have to be locked to redirect them to an existing thread.
