ICC Saved lost with no warning

So this past Thursday my guild got together to do our weekly attempts at ICC 10 man. We couldn't scrounge enough guildies to get the 10 man going and didn't want to PUG the remaining spots. Instead we chose to shoot for a faster pace on Monday our other set raiding date. As it turns out a 25 man PUG ICC started and we all joined. It was a fairly successful run for a PUG which we were happy about. I was especially happy because it meant I would get that many more frost badges and be able to get a new piece of gear that much sooner. However before the raid leader changed the raid to 25 man I accidentally stepped into the 10 man instance. Without any warning at all, it told me I had been saved to this instance. No pop up box, just poof. I simply stepped inside, not even long enough to get to a class vendor or anything.

I put in a ticket asking to have my save back that night, because as far as I know I should be warned before being saved to a raid in progress. Finally today I get a response telling me that the GM has no power to restore my save and as far as they are concerned this is a closed issue. Have a nice day.

Sorry, but I did nothing wrong and your game systems bugged out. Now I am out at least 8 frost badges, possibly more if the weekly raid was attainable or we made deeper progress than past weeks. I'll have no shot at the gear drops while putting off my next tier piece off quite a bit. This also deprives my guild of my DPS on Monday, of which I was tops in our 10 man runs. What's the point of asking for help on issues that aren't our fault if you have no power to fix the issue and won't try.

As a small raiding guild on a weak server, where most the larger raiding guilds run on days I can't make, Frost badges are a serious grind to acquire, and gear upgrades come at a serious investment of gold and grind. Honestly, waiting three days on an answer to this problem only to have someone tell me, "tough luck" is not my idea of customer service. What happens next time one of your game systems doesn't work as intended and I suffer another setback? Tough luck? I am not happy about the lack of action on this issue and it doesn't send me a message that you actually value me as a customer. I would like my ICC 10 man save back.

Folks, it should be noted that in some cases we may be able to assist with such issues. These are few and far between though as they are based on what we are able to verify as well as what abilities our staff is granted in these situations.

Please understand that even in cases where a known or unknown issue causes you to be joined to a raid or already in progress it isn't necessarily something we are able to help with. Our In-Game Support staff is committed to helping our players whenever and with whatever we are able to but there are some limitations. These limitations can be by policy or by technical limitations.

Phyrn, I am sorry for what inconvenience this may have caused you. As I understand it your issue is currently under review which you may not be aware of, if the investigation shows that we are able to help someone will contact you.

Good luck.

It seems that due to some particular limitations, Phyrn, we're simply unable to reset your 10 man. I am very sorry.
