Does hacks@blizzard.com Auto-respond?

I use an e-mail program that apparently leaves a copy of my mail on the server. I have roughly 1000 pieces of e-mail. I'm going to go through them and file them one by one and stop using that e-mail program. But anyway.

Long story short, there's roughly 300-400 phishing e-mails there over the course of the last year or so. I'm more than happy to report them all one by one if you think it'll help, as I go through my e-mail. It's no skin off my nose. None of these did I report at the time, because my e-mail program is pretty crappy and apparently doesn't do outgoing mail very well either.

Except. If I report these to hacks@blizzard.com, and it auto-responds to each one, that'll be pretty spammy. I'm still willing to do it if it's the only way, but is there any better way to mass-report phishing e-mails?

Or does reporting even do any good anyway? Does Blizzard hunt down the ISPs of the phishers and take action against them? Some of them are pretty old, I'm happy to just dump them in the trash, but since I'm going through my mail anyway, I thought I'd report them if it would help at all.

I took a quick look at the sticky thread that has examples, and although I only skimmed, I saw a couple of the ones I get most often in there, but I also didn't see all the variations of phishing e-mail I've received (but I didn't read the entire thread either.)

So.... Does Blizzard really want me to report these, does it do any good, or should I delete them? And if you'd like me to report them, is there an e-mail (or some other method) I can use that does not automatically reply? (I'll still report even if there isn't, I just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.)

Hey there, Thor.

While they may do a lot of good, it truly depends on the type of e-mail and whether or not the phishing scam website involved is still up and running. You're welcome to forward each of these messages, but this is entirely up to you and your attention span! If you're not looking to spend a ton of time sending these, you may want to forward only the ones from the past 3 or so months excluding any duplicates you may come across. Sadly, there are no methods by which to report a massive number of phishing e-mails at once

I appreciate your help, Thortok.
