Just got a whisper...

Is this for real? I just got a whisper a few minutes ago from someone named "PlayerX" stating the following:

"Dear World of Warcraft players, Blizzard system scan to your account insecurity, please log the safety net , or else Blizzard will stop using your account's rights in one hour .Certification of Warcraft account information site "possible keylogger"

I'm about 99% certain this is fake, but I'd hate to get my account yanked in the middle of my Elder achievement run.

What part of that looks legitimate, Davv?

That's not a Blizzard domain. Hyphens in a URL are not the same as periods in a domain name.

We also don't 'threaten' account actions or demand you verify anything 'or else'.

If we ever message you ingame, we'll also have a blue Blizzard logo by our name.

Please report that via Report Spam, almost certainly a compromised account looking to compromise other accounts.

Thanks!

Also dont we talk to GM's in another chat window separate from the main chat window?

Usually, yes. Always from a petition.
