Sons Of Hodir Problem IDEAS anyone

With the invention of badges for Rep with faction Sons of Hodir, I have run into a dilemma (a catch22 so to speak). I am now exalted and bought my way there with badges, cause I have lots of badges. Because I did not fully execute the entire quest line, I now cannot fight anyone because I am already friendly so I can't pick up the drop to complete the quest line. Hence, I can't see lillehoff so I can't get my shoulder enchants and can not find a way to undo my rep. Error on my part I guess, but anyone have a suggestion.

It looks like you still need to find the Slag Covered Metal and pick up the quest: The Refiner's Fire. Until you actually complete the associated quests you should still be able to see the mobs that the item drops from.
