Account wrongfully banned

I've already emailed blizzard's billing/account about this, but I wanted to post this here as well just as a warning to other people.

I mailed about 30,000 worth of gold to various other characters on my account (all on the same account and same server), and the following morning I was banned for "selling gold".

I called up their billing office, and after waiting for an hour in the queue, they unbanned my account within 5 minutes, and I was back in.

Now, a month later, the same thing happens. This time it wasn't gold, it was simply items I bought on the auction house. I spent about 40k gold in items (mostly primordial saronite), and then passed it to my death knight to make some crafted items. Again, all transfer were with characters on my own account, but blizzard for some reason flagged this as being a gold seller.

What's more frustrating, is your billing account number is currently not acceptable calls. I've been trying to call all day, but I keep getting a pre-recorded message saying "sorry, we're experiencing too many calls, please try again later".

Basically I have no choice but to wait 3 days until the suspension is up.

Please fix this blizzard - it's getting very aggravating not being able to play the game, just because your "gold seller" script isn't working the way it should.

Now, I realize that the simple solution is just not to transfer items or gold in mass amounts. Fair enough, and I'll know this now. At first I thought it was just gold, but now I know it's both gold and items. I just wish I knew what the limit is, and how long I have to wait before transferring X items and X gold. It's just getting annoying to be honest.

Btw - I'm posting on a friend's account, as my other account doesn't have access to the forums (since it's suspended at the moment).

The following response was written by one of our new teammates. Because they are still in training and do not yet possess a forum account of their own, they shall be posting via proxy through me.

If your account has been suspended or banned wrongfully Unholy, please do send an email to [email protected] and explain the situation. Once this email is received, a member of our account Administration team will be happy to review the issue and offer any additional insight they can.

In the mean time, if you would be so kind, provide me the name and realm of a character on the compromised account, and I’d be happy to take a look into the situation =).
