I used the recruit-a-friend tool to send an invitation to one of my friends which they accepted and played the trial, upgraded their account and signed up for 6 months of gametime, buton my recruit-a-friend page it says that they have not taken any action and our accounts are not linked. Can anyone help me with this?

Also she just upgraded the trial that I'd sent her in the first place and we can't get through to billing at all

Your friend actually had two trials: one they had from February (which is the one they just upgraded, and a Recruit-A-Friend account they just made with the e-mail you sent them. It appears your friend accidentally started a trial account back in February instead of using the key from the e-mail you sent out. If you would like to send them out a new Recruit-A-Friend e-mail (make sure they do not use it) I can use it to retroactively link your accounts so you can start getting all the delicious benefits of the system :)

Who do I need to send that to? my friend?

You could send it to anyone you like, but it needs to not be used, so sending it to your friend or yourself would probably be the easiest way to ensure that. I am just going to use it to link your accounts.

Ok I sent another one to the same email address, work your magic :D

Alright, your account has been linked to your friends full version account. You should see benefits start showing up in game shortly. To note, you may both need to fully log out, then back in, before these take effect.
