Exalted with faction, but can't talk to them?

I have a question...a fellow guild member told me that they were exalted with Sons of Hodir, but that they are not able to talk to them. I do not know how this could be? Anyone have any ideas?

*EDIT* From further examination, I was told that they need to complete the chain quest line..which I am still pretty confused. How can you be exalted with out doing that chain?

I am sorry for the confusion, Ellisera. It sounds like they completed a Faction Change recently. Unfortunately the way some of the quest lines in Icecrown work they are unable to translate over when switching factions.
