Q u o t e:
I recently faction changed. I expected to lose some of my argent tournament achievements as explained in the faction change FAQ. However, I did NOT expect to lose credit towards the following achievements:

Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms: complete before, now 218/550
Loremaster of Kalimdor: complete before, now 285/685
I've Toured the Fjord: complete before, now 38/105
Might of Dragonblight: complete before, now 57/130
Fo' Shizzle my Grizzle: complete before, now 32/75

Multiple members of my guild that faction changed around the same time as me did not lose credit for these achievements. As you will see from inspecting my armory profile, I've definitely completed them as I have the meta achievements "The Loremaster" and "Loremaster of Northrend". Please help!

I followed the advice given by the blue poster in that thread. After about 14 hours of waiting, the GM answered my ticket without even talking to me, even though I was online staring at the ticket. In his answer he said that losing credit for achievements was part of the faction changing process and that there was nothing he could do. I didn't even get a chance to tell him that my guild members did not lose credit for the achievements in question.

If you take Loremaster of Kalimdor for example, you'll notice that my guildies would have had to do atleast 400 more Kalimdor quests than the quota if it we're as simple as me losing credit for quests that don't transfer. Anyone who has done this achievement knows that there are definitely not 1085 quests that count towards Loremaster of Kalimdor. The same line of thinking applies to the other achievements in question.

I have an in game follow up ticket pending, but that won't likely be answered for another 14 hours. Also, Tuesday maint is coming up which I'm guessing will wipe my ticket. My history with in game GM's and achievements tells me they won't be able to do anything for me anyway. I would appreciate it if something could be done from this forum. I know that friends of mine have recently received help directly from the customer service forum for their character naming problems that resulted from the faction/server changes we all just went through.

Thank you.

Can you tell me what character/realm you submitted that petition on?
