When Is Later? Wind Rider Cub Problems...

So, after months of using the same card to pay my bill no problem, today it just up and failed and I got no notice that it failed... so my account was, naturally, frozen. That's understandable.

The only reason that I found out that my account was frozen (since I was able to log in to the game) was because I got the Wind Rider Cub for my birthday, and I went to redeem the in-game pet. It said that the "license was unavailable for play." I have an email address, you know. And, since you required me to merge my account with Battlenet, I know you know it! A little non-specific "Your account is frozen, please contact Billing"-type message would have been nice! :) That's ok, though, I figure that the lack of notification is probably working as intended. ;)

So, ok I fixed the billing problem. When I went back to redeem my wind rider cub, I get told "Too many attempts, try again later." Ok, I can accept that, in my confusion and thinking it just had to be a site problem, since my card had worked fine for months, I pressed the button more than once. My fault.

But here's my question. When is later? I mean, it is about 15 minutes later now. ;) Do I need to wait an hour? Two hours? A week? When is later? :D

I'll totally take the blame for my part in things going awry, but I just want to know... When is later?

I recommend waiting an hour before making another attempt, Lillabit. If you continue to encounter this error message, then it may be a good idea to try clearing the cache and any temporary files from your browser.

Additionally, upon further review it does not appear that your credit card had necessarily failed, Lillabit, but that our system was still working on processing your next subscription. Please note that it can often take up to 24 hours for a recurring subscription to actually process. During this time the player will normally still be able to access the game, but other features will often be disabled until the transaction has completed successfully.
