This is greater burst and PvE damage buff?

The buff to Starfall is not an answer to burst. For its duration and cooldown, a talent which can be suppressed for most of its duration via fear/stuns, this is absurd.

I saw burst as a significant damage spike an a short time window. The damage increased to a single star or two is not burst. The rest counts more to increased sustained damage than burst.

The nature's grasp charges still leave it as a mediocre talent. It only affects melee, is single target, and still provides no synergy with balance spells as roots are such a weak form of CC as single target. Especially when you need to be HIT to trigger the effect.

How about giving a buff to the druid that makes the next 3 entangling roots instant cast?

What's more disappointing, however, is to see that Insect Swarm and Moonfire-- rather terrible DoT's at the moment-- did not receive the same crit/haste scaling as other DoT's.

These are the balance spec changes we're supposed to be excited about?

The Starfall change is difficult to patch note because of the nature of the spell, but I'll share the numbers so that the theorycrafters among you can plug them in. It's a significant boost to the spell's damage.

Initially, we had designed the spell to be more AE focused, but that hasn't been super useful for a class that also has Hurricane. Rather than adding another nuke we thought it made more sense to make the 51 pointer something that really delivers on damage. Yes it can be countered. PvP is designed with the intent that things can be countered.

Main shot
Base points 432 -> 562
Coefficient 0.21 -> 0.37

Splash damage
Base points 77 -> 100
Coefficient 0.12 -> 0.13

Q u o t e:
I don't think I've heard any moonkin clamoring for more Starfall damage.

Just like the last couple changes (3% E&M, buff to Eclipse) we seem to always get the exact opposite of what we ask for.

A couple of years ago I made a now famous quote about how this is not a deli. We welcome (and encourage!) feedback. If you approach the forums as a place to order up the changes you personally want in the game, you're going to be often be disappointed.
