Lvl60 Rogue can fly in Outlands,not Northrend

My lvl 60 Rogue, Eng 300+, built a Flying Machine, and zoomed all over Outlands with it. When I landed in Northrend, I could no longer use the Flying Machine. In several locations, in and out of towns, it says "You can't use that here". Why?

The other posters are correct Darkwail, you will need to learn Cold Weather Flying before you can use a flying mount in Northrend. This is intended and an important part of character progression in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.

Technically speaking, Wrath of the Lich King was intended for characters level 55 and higher, as you can create a Death Knight character. However, Northrend content was designed for characters level 68 and higher. If you feel the restrictions for Cold Weather Flying are too strict, or that it should be removed altogether, I welcome you to post in our Suggestion forum.
