i am speaking specifically to a blizzard poster when i write this, in hopes of getting help quickly.
I have already sent an e-mail to macsupport@blizzard.com, but i noticed you respond faster to things placed on the forums, this is the exact message i sent in my e-mail.
me and my little brother have been playing world of warcraft for two years now, we have been having lots of fun. but this morning i woke up and various pieces of our characters were missing. The hackers took the armor in our characters neck, chest, wrist, weapons, ranged, and boot slots. As well as stealing gold, entire sets of armor, and other objects (we are 100% proof positive we never told anyone our password). On my level 75 warrior, all of his gear has been removed save for his 2 hierlooms and a trinket. Intrestingly enough, my level 80 druid by the name of Valior, when i logged in to him this morning, i logged in in the storm peaks UNDERNEATH the game world and beside a saronite vein. I quickly noticed that i only had 2 bags left, and all of it was filled my mining stuff, such as raw saronite, titanium, crystallized elements and eternals. For this character only, most of my stuff had been placed in my bank.
Me and my little brother are really upset, and i wanted to know if there is anything you can do about it. If there is some way to restore all my characters's gear and items that were there BEFORE 5 PM PST/ 8 PM EST. At the very least you could track who was playing between 6:30 PM PST and 4:30 PST. Thank you for reading this, if you would please take action soon, me and my brother could get back to playing and not trying to get back the thousands of gold and hundreds of hours we spent getting these things.
