Druid Artisan Riding, Swift Flight Form

I need assistance.

Ever since my Character reached the level where it could purchase the Artisan Riding skill, I have working hard to save up enough gold to be able to afford to purchase that skill.

At long last, at level 77, i had finally saved up enough gold to purchase Artisan Riding and the Swift Flight Form spell. Reaching level 77 and saving up the needed amount of gold happened simultaneously.

Naturally, the first thing I did was go to purchase this new skill. It cost 4252 gold to purchase the skill. So, I then went to a class trainer to learn my Swift Flight Form spell. This also cost me some gold. It was about 14 gold more.

It was then that I noticed there was a new druid quest available for me from the druid class trainers.

I picked up this quest. And I completed all the quests in the long chain of quests that quest started, all the way until I got the last part of the chain, the completion of which rewards you with...Swift Flight Form.

Naturally, I went nuts when i saw this. I had just - hours before - spent nearly 4300 gold to purchase what I could have gotten for free.

Why aren't druids notified that they will have the option of purchasing Swift Flight or questing for it? It seems like it would have been easy - nearly effortless - to do.

I would like my gold back.

Q u o t e:
OP, you would still have to pay for the artisan riding skill to be able to get the skill from the quest chain.

This is correct, though I believe it's worth pointing out that this thread is a few months old. :)
