Intent of Immolate change?

While I am not sure, but was the intent of the Immolate change meant to make Demo the highest lock spec? They already bring the biggest buff for the raid, one of the best AE capability and now they're becoming the #1 dps spec for locks?

What happened to Destruction being acknowledged it needed help? They're right back to square one on the meters. Literally. As of right now, with just the Demo change and the change to Immolate Demo surpasses, even Affliction as the single best dps lock spec:

#1- 00/56/15 = 13139 DPS
#2- 56/00/15 = 13064 DPS
#3- 55/00/16 = 12955 DPS
#4= 00/13/58 Immolate = 12572 DPS
#5= 00/13/58 Imp = 12519 DPS

Really? Will Destruction actually receive A buff for a change? Or is Blizzard's sole intent with these changes to force every Warlock into becoming a Buff bot? And not just a Buff bot, but the highest dps spec for locks. Hell, all those Affliction locks can no longer say their spec is the best one. You just screwed something up, Blizzard since it seems out of line with what specs bring vs. dps. And sadly, no matter what you would need to apply whatever justifications used for Demo locks needing to be the top lock spec to all the other specs out there that bring utilities. Thanks for making us into buff bots? And the likelihood anything is actually changed from the PTR has historically been slim to none. yay.....

The intent of the Immolate buff was to buff Destro.

This is one of those situations where you can't just say that Immolate is used by Demo so it buffs Demo too. It does. But it buffs Destro a lot more because Destro gets so much more benefit from Fire spells.

If you think this is not the case, please provide us some evidence using math, simulations, target dummy parses or whatever.
