Just two days ago I had next to instant WSG queues, but now times on ALL BG's and Arena skirmishes are "Unavailable" and never seem to take me to one no matter how long I wait. Help?

It shouldn't take THIS long though. 40+ minutes with no WSG?

I'm sorry, Gherith, but yes, it can take that long or longer. Remember that if you opt to not gain experience you are only queuing up with other people in your bracket that also opted to turn off their experience gain. That is a limited pool of players so if there are not enough people queuing up for a match that match will not start.

There are currently no known issue with Battlegrounds.

Statements made by a couple of our Community Management team can be found in the thread below.

As stated, Tehswineflu, check out the link I provided. If you wish to see how these systems work you are welcome to post in the Suggestion forum.

The CS forum is moderated by the in-game support staff, not developers.

I read through the whole thing, and i still think your discriminating against twinks as a whole. This is one of the most unfair game changes i have seen, ever. I would rather have no xp gain in battlegrounds than this.

Actually, Tehswineflu, we have always been perfectly honest in stating that we do not support twinking in any form. When our Developers implemented experience in Battlegrounds, as an alternate way to level besides questing, consideration was made for those who do prefer twinking. In this case they allowed experience gain to be turned off, but they decided that if you wish to do so you would only be grouped with others who also have their experience turned off.

I'd like to address some points on the battleground experience system.

I'm not certain why you are doing so in the CS forum, Bankerjeeves, as it would be more appropriate in the PvP Discussion forum but OK.
Q u o t e:

First of all this system, in no way that I've yet noticed, makes leveling faster.

It is intended as an alternate method of leveling outside of simply questing or running instances. It was not stated that it would be a faster method of leveling.

Q u o t e:
The BoA gear is, whether you admit it or not, mostly used in battlegrounds and player versus player combat. Many characters can have a fair fight against a twink with bind on account gear.

That's arguable as I know many who use the Bind on Account items to level alternate characters but that is irrelevant. It still would be better discussed in a more appropriate forum.
Q u o t e:

Secondly, the sheer time and effort put into twinking a character, even half-twinked, to have it ruined with a system that limits their player versus player experience exponentially, is ridiculous. That is one of the most unfair installments in this game to date.

Again, a discussion for another forum but probably better suited for the Suggestion forum if you wish to see how the system currently works changed.
Q u o t e:

Thirdly, with the new random dungeon system, battleground experience has been rendered obsolete anyway. You may say that this system helps inexperienced players level faster with battlegrounds.

I don't see how it makes battleground experience obsolete. Some people enjoy leveling by questing, some like it by running instances and others still like leveling in Battlegrounds. Having one method does not negate the others.
Q u o t e:

Now, I'm no mathematician but I'd say battlegrounds are extremely inefficient in comparison.

Perhaps it would be better to have this discussion where you can exchange facts with others who may have the math to compare.
Q u o t e:

There is no reason to ban twinks.

People who twink are not banned.
Q u o t e:

If you cannot link battlegroups due to hardware situations, then simply change the system back to the old way until a better solution is available.

Again, something best suited for the Suggestion forum.
Q u o t e:

I've played this game for four years, and I've seen some ridiculous things in that time period, but if this goes unchanged it will be enough for me to unsubscribe.

I'm sorry to hear that, Bankerjeeves, but it is important to point out that we have not actively supported twinking. It was permitted and with the changes made to the Battlegrounds (i.e. earning experience) our Developers felt it necessary to allow those who wish to the ability to turn off experience gain but they wanted to be able to add additional options for leveling. This game has always been about forward progression.

It is apparent that we will continue to receive posts either for or against experience in Battleground, twinking or a myriad of other related topics.

Please feel free to continue this debate in the appropriate forum or post your feedback on our current systems in the Suggestion forum where our Community Managers and Developers can review it. Thank you.
