Realm Issues - Hydraxis 02/23

Hydraxis is once again available for play. We are aware that players are unable to enter instances or Battlegrounds on this realm, however, and our technicians continue to investigate for possible resolutions. Please stay tuned to this thread for updates.

Hydraxis is presently unavailable due to an unforeseen technical issue. We are working to bring the realm back online as soon as possible. While we are unable to provide an estimate on when these issues will be resolved, we will provide updates as they become available.

Hydraxis is online and accepting characters on all continents. We continue to monitor this issue, though. If you experience any issues with game play, please post within this thread and note the continent you're logging in or playing from.

Restart timer has been initiated. Hydraxis will be restarted in approximately 15 minutes.

Heads up: We may need to restart Hydraxis to further address today's issues. This isn't yet confirmed, but I wanted to at least make you aware of the possibility.

We're looking into this issue currently. May I ask one quick question, though: Whenever I attempt to log into Hydraxis, I receive the "Logging into game server message." Are you receiving this same message, or are you still unable to see the realm within your Realm Selection list?

Indeed. Apologies to those of you who were able to log in briefly only to be disconnected again. =/

We're still working to get Hydraxis back up and running smoothly. As I noted before, though, once I receive any updates related to this realm's status (whether it's online or offline; whether characters can log into one continent, but another; etc), I'll post them within this thread.

Alright, folks, I've been able to log into all continents with my character. How's login and game play looking for each of you now? Any latency or difficulty? We're still working on this issue, but your feedback is appreciated.



As for the ongoing issues Hydraxis has experienced, this is something that has not gone unnoticed and remains under investigation at this time. Our technicians are aware of the recent difficulty players have encountered on Hydraxis and are looking into ways to resolve them. I do not possess any further information on this front, though.

The restart was initiated by our technicians, Elfdeath. This restart is to resolve one final issue that may impact game play.

You my sincere apologies for any inconvenience it may pose, but we want to make sure that everything was corrected and running properly.

I just want to reassure that you've not been forgotten. Right now, the issues affecting Hydraxis are our highest priority. Our technicians are working to restore stability to your realm and get you all back into the game as soon as possible.

On the contrary, those posts still remain, as they are perfectly valid conversation. While this is perhaps not the appropriate forum to air such requests, there's no reason to silence them.

I am, however, removing profanity, trolling posts, and some off-topic comments (mainly those that start to border on being spammy).

Hydraxis is back up, and I've been able to log into characters on all continents. We continue to monitor this issue, though. If you experience any issues with game play, please let me know and I'll make sure our technicians are notified immediately.

Thanks for the reports, all. I just had a character disconnected, as well. Our technicians are aware and I'll provide another update as soon as one becomes available.

Not that I believe you will even respond to my question, I am going to pose it anways. Hydraxis seems to be the one sever in all the relems * correct me if I am wrong with vaid stats*, that has the most issues consistantly.

So, to my question, what needs to happen to get a free server xfer?

The availability of Free Character Moves is beyond the scope of the Game Master department. If you'd like to request that such be considered for Hydraxis, you're welcome to drop a line in our Suggestions Forum. While posts in that forum will not receive a response due to legal reasons, they are read by our Development, Design, and Community teams (those who have purview over such matters).

It's important to note, though, that Free Character Moves are generally offered to realms that are experiencing issues due to overpopulation to underpopulated realms. This is a bit of a different case here, and our preferred course of action is to resolve the core issues, providing a long-term fix.

Our goal is always to implement permanent solutions to these issues, Talendor, though not all issues are easily or quickly resolved. We are very much aware that Hydraxis has experienced login and stability issues for a while now, and we have been investigating these issues in an effort to find a permanent solution.

Our primary concern right now, however, is to make Hydraxis once again available for play.

And, as an update: While we were able to bring Hydraxis back online briefly, some new issues were encountered that brought the realm offline. Our technicians are investigating them at this time. While I do not possess an ETA at this time, I will touch base will you all again in about one hour—or sooner, if additional information becomes available.
