Why is living bomb.....

One of the only DoTs now that can't passively crit in a spec that is subpar?
Why are fire mages forced to use living bomb glyph still?

IMO make living bomb baseline crit and make the glyph of scorch/improved scorch increase fire damage dealt by X% for X seconds or X% haste on fireball casts for X seconds. This way fire mages would actually use scorch aside from 5% crit debuff and have a slightly more interesting rotation.

This would also allow fire mages to dps on the move more with generally faster fireball casts which I think hurts fire mages too much. (Well, aside for pyroblast hitting for ballz).

Another fix to buff fire mages in PVE would be to allow hot streak to be the next two crits, not two crits in a row. Again, this would allow mages to ideally cast more pyroblasts while moving or target switching.

Glyphs are always going to feel mandatory for dps classes in PvE. Whichever glyphs are proven to be the highest dps increase will be the mandatory ones. That will only cease to be true if there is somehow so much variation in the trees that say some Fire mages use Scorch and glyph it, while others go with Living Bomb or Pyro or something and glyph those. But even within those sub-builds, certain glyphs would always be the right choice.
