According to others in the post below, cross-server ignore is working. I've tried it with their suggestions, and I get "Player not found" message. Help?

Initial post:
  • Getting ninja-looted from dungeon party members is frustrating, but if they're on the same server, I can simply "ignore" them so I never have to group with them again. You can't put cross-server people on the ignore list, so I might run into the same jerk again and I won't remember who they were.

Just as a reminder, you can ignore characters from different realms in three different ways:

    • Right-click the character's name next to a line of chat and select the "Ignore" option
    • Type "/ignore <playername>-<playerrealm>" into your chat window
    • Open up your Ignore list, click "Ignore," and then type in the character's name and realm

As an example, if you wanted to theoretically ignore your character, the command would be "/ignore zwelda-echoisles"—but without the quotes. :)

If the server is two words, ignore that.

    So...

    /ignore chiizu-twistingnether

    As an example.

Yup! This is a very important point to remember.

Syndri, what about realms with ' in their name?

    Jubei'Thos
    Kel'Thuzad

Great question! The format should be:

      charactername-jubei'thos
      charactername-kel'thuzad
