My friend is having this same issue. The email is formatted correctly and it's not tied to another b-net account. It doesn't give an error message, just an empty red box like the error messages it gives for when the password/secret question is wrong. Any solutions? Clearing the cache doesn't work.
If clearing the browser's cache, cookies, and temporary Internet files does not resolve the issue, please try using a different browser altogether. Should the issue persist, please have him call our Billing Department using one of the following numbers:
