Cata, Rollercoaster or not?

Will Cata be the same rollercoaster ride of buffs and nerfs that Wrath is? I just want to know because the most loved feature of Vanilla WoW was the lack of changes in game, and game play.

Sure Ret wich I spent most of my vanilla time as, was kinda gimp; however It for the most part remained constant.. Sure I cussed with each nerf, but some of it was needed. Now with the changes in TBC and now wrath, I feel like what is the use in trying to keep up any more.. Odds are the spec your playing will not exist in 3 weeks. This is the feeling I have about current version wow, and how many folks feel about it.

Less changes, longer time between content updates. Longer run time of an expantion, much smaller upgrades in gear from tier to tier, and fewer of them, 3 is good.. 3 is a good round number.. 3 Tiers, for 3 years. with maybe at the most 5% overall upgrade between T1 --> T2 and T2 --> T3.
