All of a sudden its okay to be awful in trade

I noticed that not too long ago people were afraid to use swear words in trade out of fear of being banned or suspended or whatever. People say whatever they want never suffer any consequence. I don't necessarily have a problem with it myself but if you're going to allow 13 year olds to play that game i'd assume you would at least make sure people aren't being ridiculous in trade chat. My question is, was there a policy change that allows people to act like that or have people come to the realization that nothing will happen to them even if they're reported? Thanks. I mean, i say offkey things in trade myself but i'm suprised by the contrast of trade chat of old, and the new revised super-tard eternal 'barrens chat' that goes on in trade as of late.

The following response was written by one of our new teammates. Because they are still in training and do not yet possess a forum account of their own, they shall be posting via proxy through me.

If you feel any player is violating in-game chat policies, in any channel, please feel free to report them via in-game petition Sindy. Please include the name and realm of the offending character, as well as a brief description of what took place and when. The receiving Game Master will be happy to review the chat and take all appropriate actions.
