Dealing with Bots - bannable, frown upon or ?

I am kindof suspicious when I see 90+ stacks of ore from the same person on the AH for really cheap prices, but that doesn't stop me from buying them all for profit (lol) and I know this is perfectly fine....my question.

If I sent a message or in game mail to this person asking for him to save some gold by just CODing the ore to me instead, is this fine as well? I guess this is the same as herbs...but I don't buy bulk herbs very often....

I agree (and also noticed this was moved to customer support) with everyone. I have yet to report someone for selling stuff on the AH, I was just curious about the ramifications (if any)of buying bulk ore from a botter.

Well, it is difficult to verify, from a player point of view, that a person gained the items they are placing on the Auction House illicitly. Sheer volume alone does not denote a bot and many people sell items at what may be considered a reduced cost.

If you suspect a character is a bot or is otherwise suspect, I'd encourage you to report it. There is no harm in us taking a look and if nothing nefarious is found they will never know we were there.

A Blue made a spelling error?
Unexcusable! I demand the docking of wages forthwith.

Well, technically the word is spelled correctly, it is just the wrong word. :P
