Whisper of Suspension

I just recieved a whisper from a GM in the game that my account as been temporarily suspended? And to go to a website for further information.

First what is this?
Second is it real? Been reading about scams?
Third wouldn't I have gotten notication in my email?


I checked my account through Worldofwarcraft and see no indication that its suspended and my next billing date is coming up.

I don't like the feeling this gave me to recieve this whisper in the game.

So can anyone tell me what my next move needs to be in handling this?
