Do Trial Account Upgrades Require Expansion

On my computer, I have the full game installed, patched all the way up to 3.3

My girlfriend wants to play with me, so I did refer a friend, and now we want to upgrade the account.

My question is: if we pay the $19.99 required to receive the "Full World of Warcraft License", will this INCLUDE the expansion attachments to the account required to go to outland and northrend for example.

If not, how much extra would it cost? Blue on this matter would be appreciated.

The upgrade only includes the standard version of the game, Cyruss. If your girlfriend would like access to expansion content she will need to upgrade her account with those particular expansions. Since each Authentication key can only be used once this means purchasing a new retail version of the appropriate expansion or upgrading online.

The more convenient of the options of course would be to upgrade online through the Account Management page. The more frugal of the options though is to check out your local retail establishments. There is a boxed set of the Standard version of the game as well as the Burning Crusade expansion in the Battle Chest set, this is usually sold for a much lower cost then purchasing them separately.

Some stores will often offer discounted versions of even these, shop around and you can usually pick up all three versions for a very good price. :)
