Forum Account Ban?

I'm posting this on behalf of my partner, since his account is blocked for some reason from posting on the forums...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm posting this here because Blizzard's phone support was unable to answer this question for me.

Two nights ago someone hacked my account over the night and did a number on it; they transferred characters, stole everything, added an authenticator, linked another account to mine, and then deleted every single one of my characters.

Yesterday I called Blizzard immediately when they opened to let them know what had happened, and start the recovery process. Everything seems fine, the rep sees the authenticator was added from another country so he takes it right off, etc. I get home about six or seven hours later and check my email, and I got an email about a 14 day forum banning for posting racially derogatory material.

I figured the email was from a scammer, so I tried to log in, and it directs me to http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/banned.html

What the heck is going on? When I called Blizzard phone support later that night, he said he saw no notes indicating anything about a forum suspension or ban, yet I'm still banned from the forums. I figured I'd post here asking. Why the heck was my account banned while I was at work... when it was hacked did someone go onto the forums posting who-knows-what? It's really poor customer service to ban someone who'd called several hours prior and told Blizzard they had no access to the account (Bliz even reset my password). I even explained to the Blizzard rep that I wouldn't be able to do anything until 9:30PM PST since I was working late. I get home, and my forum account is banned, no explanation as to why, no specific reason given, etc.

Called Bliz phone support AFTER I got that email, and they told me there's nothing they can do. Sorry, don't buy it, if a Blizzard rep did it, then it can be undone. And if it's not going to be done, then I want a reason.

Compromised accounts used to post keyloggers are suspended for two weeks to ensure the account holder has enough time to recover the account and to prevent the spread of keyloggers. I'm terribly sorry if you have been inconvenienced as a result of this issue; however, this process is necessary to help protect the well-being of our players. Should you wish to dispute the suspension, you're welcome to contact our Forum Moderators at wowreportedposts@blizzard.com.
