Q u o t e:
Use: Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting your Wrath spell by 50%.
With all the pushback protection we gain in raid situations, this glyph is pretty much useless. And with owlkin frenzy constantly procing in PvP, you cannot say that its really that great for PvP either. So I tried to consider how we may go changing this glyph so that it would be at least more useful and may actually have a place in our setups. I have looked into similar glyph's for our class and I have found one that may be similar to the idea I currently have. See below the "healing touch" glyph
Q u o t e:
Use: Decreases the cast time of Healing Touch by 1.5 sec, the mana cost by 25%, and the amount healed by 50%.
In this glyph, the cast time of the spell is decreased but the effectiveness of the spell is reduced to compensate. More precisely however is the change you may to the cast time of healing touch, that is what interested me. Now we all know that right now, because of "nature's grace" we do not scale great with haste when casting Wrath (softcapping out at 401 haste for a 1sec cast of Wrath when NG procs).
It is such a core talent however and such a big part of our DPS that obviously any change made to this talent will be left until the next expansion. So my suggestion is at least for now, the best band-aid I can think of at least in terms of scaling with the high amount of haste found on ICC gear. So see below a suggestion I have that may help us to at least scale better with the gear found in ICC.
Q u o t e:
Glyph OF Wrath: Increases the cast time of Wrath by 0.5 and increases damage by X%
0.5 seconds of course being a placeholder number, I would suspect you would have to run numbers to determine the correct amount that would help us to scale better with our gear. As for the increase in damage, it is a similar effect to that of the "healing touch" glyph only in the reverse direction. Obviously this glyph would be of no-use to people who have just hit 80 but eventually when they start to get better gear, this glyph would become more desirable. If this sounds like a decent idea GC, would you at least consider this change. It is not a major talent change and is merely a glyph alteration. It would also be entirely optional and therefore it would not be imposed on people who would not want to use it. I await your response :P
