Hello customer service forums.

This weekend when I was out with some friends I ended up dropping my iphone pretty badly and now it will not turn on. Unfortunately I had the mobile authenticator app installed and now I cannot log onto my account since I cant get the key.

I tried calling billing but I only got a message saying that they were experiencing a high number of calls and that I would need to call back later.

I was wondering if there was another alternative.

Thanks for any suggestions.

There are several ways to request an authenticator be removed; You can call in to the Billing department, e-mail them directly, or fill out the Terms of Use form to make the request:

Battle.net Terms of Use form:
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=26361

It can take some time for an e-mail or form response depending on volumes received, but if you are able to speak with a phone representative and verify the proper details, it could be removed today.
