Insult and Injury

First I'll start by saying it was my own fault I got hacked when trying to report a phishing site to [email protected]

I was hacked on 2/8/10 while in ulduar farming. When i went to log back in an authenticator had been placed on my account. I did all my own research followed the instructions, even waiting on a phone queue for 2 hours, to have the authenticator removed to begin the process. Even before that i jumped on an alt account and put a tkt in that the account was hacked.

After realizing that i need to be more secure i purchased an authenticator which said 7 business days shipping (its still not here). I've had to email them about this.... still no response.

K back to my hacked de'd sold used items.

I carry 3 bags of gear on my shaman 2 resto sets 1 pvp set. They took all of my badges all of my honor some of my mats and de'd all my pve gear.

I put in a tkt with blizzard to see what could be done about getting my items back per the instructions for hacked accounts......I put in a tkt asking to have my relic sword and belt for the time being, i even called and put in a tkt to make sure icould take the items they gave me back. This gm gave me the items which i very much appr!

7 days later nothing, no update no nothing.

I put in a tkt on the 7th day to see what was going on this is the response i got:

Character Name: Dazi
Money Restored: 44g 0s 30c

This is a lvl 43 rogue.... wth do i care about 44g on an alt! When what my ticket asked for is my mains items gear badges and etc.

SO I FILED ANOTHER TICKET!

This time i told them that this is an absolute slap in the face..... seriously adding insult to injury.... why should i keep 2 accounts for 3 years when you don't give a diddle about your customers.

DO GMS READ TICKETS?

This is the response I got from the ticket above......

Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department regarding the compromised account.
Please change your pw and etc.............THE SAME EMAIL I GOT WHEN I FIRST TOLD YOU ALL ABOUT THIS ON 2/8/10

So at this point is making your customers worth this? Should i keep my account? When its clear you have no respect nor initiative in helping your customers.....

Maybe blizzard got hacked and they don't want to let anyone know, maybe they hack their own accounts to get you to buy authenticators.

If its not resolved in the allotted time that BLIZZARD STATED regardless of what the forum posts say, I will cxl my acc.

Yes, Kêêla, we have read them - all 6 of them, over 9 days.

I am very sorry for the delay, but that queue can vary quite substantially at any given time. You should actually be hearing about this rather soon.

I am glad to hear you have an authenticator on the way, that should help avoid this sort of inconvenience in the future.

Q u o t e:

Restoration queue is 8-12 days, actually =). Not to mention, this queue varies so much it is hard to EVER give an accurate estimate.

That's why I am loathe to really ever give one - and even then - with LOTS of disclaimers.

Not all investigations are created equal, volume fluctuates as well as types of investigations ongoing at any given time. It can vary as much as 24 hours - to 2ish + weeks, depending. While we can try to give a ballpark - when we are a week-ish or so out, that is more vulnerable to change in either direction.

Wait...hold on....You mean they AREN'T robots that work 24/7/365(6)??? My entire life has been a lie! I demand this to be addressed by a blue immediately. With that, I also demand a free month subscription and 5 frost badges!

Did I do it right?
