Well, let's just make the assumption that Nefarian is still alive. It's fun to imagine such things anyway.

That said, I think he's one of those creatures that is nothing but a talking head. Sometimes he gets taken out of the garage to show people that come over but he keeps talking nonstop and spitting at people so they close him back up in the cabinets after being shown.
