We are currently looking into issues affecting the realm Hydraxis. We hope have this realm accessible and available for play as soon as possible.

We will be performing rolling restarts on all US realms beginning at 05:00 AM PST 02/10/2010. Additionally, we will be performing rolling restarts on all Oceanic realms beginning at 12:00 PM PST on 02/10/2010. We anticipate each realm will be down for no more than 15 minutes and the overall process will last approximately 1 hour.

Update, 02/09/2010 10:25 PM PST

We will be performing a series of rolling restarts beginning at 10:35pm PST on Tuesday February 10th, 2010 to address issues with interacting with NPCs. The following realms will be affected:

Alleria
Blackhand
Cho'gall
Illidan
Whisperwind
Stormreaver

We expect that total downtime per realm will be only a couple of minutes. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

As of 9:30 pm PST on Tuesday February 9th, 2010, we are in the process of restarting the Blackrock and Tichondrius realms due to persistent login issues that have been experienced. We expect that these realms will be offline for the next 15-30 minutes, and apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

It seems that the existing thread regarding today's maintenance may be causing a bit of confusion and is not properly communicating our realms' current status.

As most of you know, all realms are now online and accepting players. We are aware that many players continue to experience latency, however, and are becoming "stuck" when at various loading screens.

Our Technicians are aware, Aderis. Blackrock, Tichondrius and Kil'Jaeden are currently offline.

Suramar is online though some players are seeing the realm as offline in the Realm Selection List.

So in my opinion it's a bit mis-leading to say their up and playable when I for one can't even get in, and it's not for trying. I can login to my characters on every single other server I have toons on, except proudmoore, so I know it's not my computer or copy of WoW.

It isn't misleading, Pukka, you may not be able to access the realm but there are hundreds/thousands of others who are currently logged in.

Also another ongoing issue is many of the NPC on Illidan are unresponsive at least for my experience the paladin trainers in stowmwind dont have any options cant train or reset talents, also quest npc in out lands will not talk or work. also many vendors have the same issue.

Eitrigg is lagging bad. We tried to raid tonight but just couldn't do it. Its server lag because the long loading screens, long time to release from bodies, and long looting time.

Though our Technicians continue to look into these issues I would also encourage you to use the Report Lag feature if you can. This may help our Technicians narrow down the cause.

Realms are not getting progressively worse. There are the occasional persistent issues from time to time.

We do not enable Character Moves for realms experiencing temporary technical issues. Our goal is to resolve those issues not hasten an exodus.

Hmm, keep trying. I was able to log in. Though it does look like Tich is now experiencing the same issue as several other realms on that Battlegroup in that you may not be able to speak with certain NPC's.

Just seconding the Andorhal problem. I got stuck in an instance about an hour ago and couldn't teleport out or leave. When I closed the window and went to log back in I got "retrieving character data"....been stuck there for an hour now...

Morning, all, and thank you for your ongoing reports.

We're aware that many realms, following this morning's rolling restarts, are not available for play and are actively investigating these issues at this time. While I do not currently possess an ETA, a more detailed update should be available soon.

Small update: We're still working to bring Suramar online at this time; however, all other realms should be available for play.

For those of you who are reading along, can you attempt to log into your primary realm and then report back to me? :)

Another small update: We've restarted the realm Hydraxis and login now appears stable. For those of you who play on Hydraxis, how's game play? Are you experiencing any issues?
