Hi, Kruegarhwa
First, I want you remove any security software you have installed. This includes Norton and PeerGuardian. You may need to reboot after removing the software.
Then, clear the temp files by removing 3 folders from the WoW folder.
1. Navigate to
/Applications/World of Warcraft/ 2. Delete the
Cache folder.
3. Move
Interface and
WTF to the
Desktop.
4. Launch WoW.
If that fails, power cycle your network devices.
1. Unplug your modem and router (if you have one.)
2. Let them set for 30-60 seconds.
3. Plug them back in modem first, then the router.
4. Reboot your computer.
5. Test WoW.
Now, if both of these fail, you'll need to flush the DNS.
1. Navigate to
/Applications/Utilities and launch
Terminal.
2. Copy/Paste the following:
For Leopard (10.5):
dscacheutil -flushcache For Tiger (10.4) and Panther (10.3):
lookupd -flushcache 3. Press return.
4. Test WoW.
Please, let me know if this works or not. Thanks!
