Recruit a friend Account link not working?

So i just got two of my friends into WoW and they love it but i got the min through the recruit a friend program and they went through all the steps to use my invite to get our accounts linked. but even though is says they are linked we do not have the 300% XP gain or the teleport ability as the recruit a friend is supposed to have. Looking over your accounts, I can see why you are not getting Recruit-A-Friend benefits. Both of your friends created a normal trial and also the Recruit-A-Friend trial on their accounts. Both of your friends have characters on the normal trial accounts, and have not been logging into the Recruit-A-Friend accounts they also created. You will want to let them know to play on the Recruit-A-Friend account to get the benefits (and upgrade those accounts if you want the rewards).

New accounts are created chronologically (i.e. WoW1, then WoW2, etc.) so the first one they made without the Recruit e-mail will be 1, then the ones they made second would be the WoW2 accounts. It looks like the same thing happened for both, so they both want to use their WoW2.
