I am a loyal customer who has been playing, and enjoyed playing, wow for the past 3 or 4 years. Customer service has been declining in quality over that time and now it is flat out disappointing. People post on the forums and get more of a response from good little drones that enjoy trolling and spamming "read the eula". I do not want to hear from you...so shhh! I am posting in the hopes that a blue reads and responds to my post, because frankly I don't care what the drone has to say.
Blackrock has been so laggy since the last patch that the game is nearly unplayable. Let me describe the lag:
- 5 minutes to get 1 item from mail.
- unable to use the AH
- dying to low lvl mobs because you can not cast nor do you see the fight occurring. Everything is frozen.
- unable to loot
- unable to raid because entire raid gets frozen mid-combat
- phasing into instances/raids takes several minutes
- loading into game takes as much as 30 minutes on loading screen ( i have logged in and been afk several times)
These are SERIOUS issues that have caused raiding to be impossible for many guilds. These issues make even playing an alt a poor option.
I understand that maintenance is today and the likely response will be that maintenance will fix the issue, but from experience, I imagine that we will experience the same lag this week or worse. I expect the server to freeze and have several restarts over the course of the next few days, and frankly that saddens me. It upsets me to see such a great game have such poor customer service (36hours on a gm ticket anyone?) and have continuous technical issues that remain unresolved.
I am asking for a BLUE response to tell me if the lag issue has been identified and an eta on a fix. Can we expect the server to run smoothly this week after maintenance? I also want to know if there will be some sort of compensation for players in the Bloodlust battle-group, whether it be game time credit or free transfers.
Again, this is a pre-emptive SHH to people that are not gm's. I do not want to hear from drones.
