Since we had some extra time during the week while waiting for the last wing in ICC to be unlocked, the raid decided we'd take a shot at getting "Alone in the Darkness" yogg 0 lights in ulduar 25m. I spent 2 weeks for about 2-3 nights a week wiping on the fight only to find that everyone in the raid got the Death's Demise achievement and title besides me when we finally killed yogg.
It was very disheartening and somewhat frustrating for me because I wasn't aware of the new server first achievement policy after someone transfers.
I read some more blogs and blue posts about the reasoning behind this policy, and I understand it's blizzard's intention to give server natives the first shot at the titles, and that they don't want good guilds transferring to low progression servers to claim all of the server firsts either.
In my case, I was the only new person, and despite putting in the same time and effort as everyone else, I didn't receive the same credit or reward.
I put in a GM ticket only to receive an automated response that they'd escalate the ticket to be reviewed and that I'd receive an email or message in-game within 2-3 days. It's been 8 days, and it feels like perhaps my issue was abandoned because I've yet to receive that response regarding the GM verdict. It's somewhat upsetting.
Would it be possible for me to receive credit for the achievement in my particular situation or am I completely out of luck on this?
