I replied to a mail in game that showed a website ([removed]) to recieve an ingame pet. Upon doing so I was booted offline in about 3 mins and when I tried to log back in it says

"Please activate the Battle.net Authenticator product attached to this account, and enter the six-digit digital code that it generates."

well I checked my e-mail and do not have anything from blizzard with an authentication code.

I have a guild mate online who can see me online in Dalaran at the guild bank. I am not online however, so obviously someone else is on my account unauthorized!! please help!!

Q u o t e:
Blizz apparently just invented another way for hackers to steal our accounts, way to go geniuses.

I'm not entirely sure where you've come up with this idea, Btr. The Authenticator played no role in a malicious party gaining your account information; this information was gleaned as a result of a security issue on a computer you've used or your e-mail account. The malicious party may have added the Authenticator after the fact to restrict your ability to login, but thankfully we can assist in the removal. For more information, please pay particularly close attention to the following portion of the Compromise Info Center:

6.3 An Authenticator Was Added to My Account!

In some circumstances, malicious parties may add an Authenticator to an account to prevent access to anyone who does not posses the Authenticator. Please contact our Billing and Account Service Department to have the Authenticator removed from the account. Our Billing Representatives can be reached via phone using one of the following numbers:
