My authenticator is locked out

I was trying to log into the Blizzard store to buy more game time. I tried using my normal WOW username/password and my authenticator. But it wasn''t able to log into Blizzard Store. I thought that my credentials are the same for the WOW account and the Blizzard store.

Now, I can't even log into the WOW game or the Manage Account from www.wolrdofwarcraft.com. It says that my authenticator is "locked out" and that I need to call customer service.

I have tried calling on the phone but the lines are so busy that the recording says to call back later. It won't even let me into a phone queue.

I then sent email several days ago to billing@blizzard.com. I got an automated reply back.

I have been waiting for 3 days and I still can't use my Blizzard account for WOW.

Can someone from customer service please fix my issues!!! I also request a time credit back to my account since I have been without it for several days.

When multiple incorrect authenticator codes are entered, this will lock it out to prevent someone from just piling in code after code after code. I went ahead and reset the Authenticator itself for you. It looks like you also reset your own game password, so you should be able to log in successfully now.

Was the automated reply just one to let you know we received the e-mail? I am showing your e-mail itself is still in queue and has not been responded to yet. They are all handled in the order received so with the high volume, that could take some time. Since we are handling the issue now though, a response may not be necessary ;-)

Could you try to login now to let me know if you have some success?

They should be the same. If you continue encountering a login error it could be one of a few things. You may wish to try clearing the cookies and temp files on your browser, as it could have some bad data stored, causing your login loop. The other thing I would guess is that you could be entering the authenticator code as it is switching over to the next one. With a 30 second window to enter the code, if it is missed at all the site will return the invalid message.

If you have success logging in at Battle.net though, you may wish to login there, then redirect your web browser to the store page. Once on the store after a successful Battle.net page login, you should be able to hit login to auto login without having to re-enter data (since the browser and site recognizes you had just logged in).
