Refusing to restore account after hacking.

My old account got hacked, and banned for using third party software.

I sent them emails, saying that the fault of loose security is my own, but permanent ban is extreme, and I asked them to lift or shorten the ban. The investigated again, and determined that my account indeed was hacked. But they are still refusing to restore the account, saying that the third party software was still used on my account, even when the hacker used it, and that ToU says use of third party software will be punished, as if I don't know that.

Of course I didn't use any third party software, nor do I support the use of anybody else. But is it still my fault when the hacker used the tool to steal my gold(their evaluation report say that in-game gold has been taken away by someone else)? Giving me dictionary definitions of violating rules and expecting me to somehow think I deserve the proper consequence when I am a victim.

It's been taking weeks now, and this is one of the one of the worst customer services I've ever received in a long while.

Hoochí,

I don't have information on character/realm to look into that - but even if I had - once an account had been sanctioned, this is in Account Administration's jurisdiction.

All I can really recommend is appealing the decision and request review to [email protected].

I do wish you all the best.
