I just received a whisper from Networkteam?

I just received this whisper from "networkteam" --was wondering if this is real or fake. I never get random whispers, thats why i was wondering about it... thanks

[Networkteam] whispers: Dear players, because the network of World of Warcraft had broken off, Blizzard had decided to give each player certain compensation. Please visit: <exploit site> and receive compensations for goods.

It's fake. Blizz won't offer you compensation via ingame whispers. If you're ever contacted in game by a Blizz employee they will have the Blue Blizz trademark by their names.

You should right click on the name and "report spam" and also please edit out that website from your post here. We wouldn't want others to go to it and risk their accounts being compromised.


^^ This is exactly correct.

We'll have a distinctive and unique blue marker by our names - we also aren't going to send you off to some weird domain, not ours :)
