Is there a way to disable this? I have tried to go into the interface>Objectives menu with now luck. Can anyone help?

You can opt to deselect the “Show Quest Objectives” option, Juve, which is in the lower right hand corner when you have the map displayed, as shown in this image: (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/3p3/ui4.jpg).

As for the Quest Objectives being displayed, as in the far right of the following image: (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/3p3/ui1.jpg). You should be able to open the Quest Log and deselect the “Track” option. I would also be sure that the “Automatic Quest Tracking” and Automatic Quest Progress Updates” are off within the Objectives section of the Interface Options.
