Realm Issues - 01/26/10

Greetings all,

We are aware of some issues affecting realms currently. In an effort to help focus our investigation, please create a post here containing the following information:

When describing conditions, please indicate if you are stuck, trapped in an instance, unable to log in, or experiencing any other unusual conditions.

UPDATE:

Our staff are continuing to investigate these issues overall. The good news is that steps have taken which should have relieved log in issues that some realms were experiencing.

If you were previously unable to log in, please attempt to do so now. If you are still unable to, please create a post including your realm name, battlegroup, and a note that you are still unable to log in.

I've done some investigation, and it appears that any widespread issues should be resolved. If you are still 'stuck' or unable to log in, then this is likely a relatively isolated issue. Fortunately, our staff should be able to lend a hand. While we're unable to resolve such issues via the forum, please feel free to submit an in-game petition from a different character on the same account, and a member of our staff will do their utmost to help as swiftly as possible!

When you submit such a petition, it's best to keep the following points in mind:

• Always use the ‘Character Stuck’ button when you submit this kind of petition.
• Include the word 'stuck' in your petition.
• Include the name and realm of the stuck character.
• Include where your character was before they got stuck
• Mention whether you are stuck at the loading screen, are unable to remain in-game, are trapped on terrain, are unable to find your body, or fell ‘through the world’

Our staff are currently investigating, but as this is a separate issue from the one that occurred earlier, I am going to create a fresh thread to consolidate information and provide updates. I'll lock this thread and link the new thread here though.
