My character lost during server transfer?

I initiated a character transfer at around 7pm EST this evening followed by an email confirmation stating my character was ready. But I cannot find my character anywhere, on the original or new server. I can't even find him on wowarmory or on my armory iphone app.

It's lost somewhere.

I've been waiting online with a GM petition for over 4 hours now, waiting. Was hoping someone on the forums could assist me.
