Account upgrade from trial to normal

Hello. I have bought World of Warcraft through Blizzard's online store, so I got my authentication key already. I added the game to Battle Net, and bought a 6-month recurring subscription plan, to play. After doing all that my character is still not allowed to trade with, or invite my boyfriend's character. The account management site says my current subscription (1 month free from online store, it says) expires on March 4th, and that my 6 month recurring period starts on March 3rd. Will it take a month before my account is finally upgraded to normal, and I can play fully? What can I do to unlock the trial account earlier?

I installed the full game, with all patches applied using the files my boyfriend has, for what it's worth, so I am not playing using the "streaming" client.
