Character Xfer Problem?

Hi There,

I just put in a request to transfer this character to Altar of Storms, I put in the request at 9:30pm and I am still waiting for its completetion even though my credit card has been charged and I have been sent no emais about my xfer (I expect it because I have xferd in the past and usually get a "Pending" email).

I attempted to login to the toon and noticed he is still on the venture co, but while trying to load into game it comes up with an error stating "You need to wait for your current character request to be processed". In my past experience most xfers took up to 15 minutes max, this one is going on 4 hours with an estimated time of 1.

It sounds as if it has been some time since you have transferred a character, Arpe, there is no longer a pending e-mail. The transfer is initiated and completed in one transaction. Meaning that the request for transfer simply needs to be initiated, it will be sent up, once the system approves the transfer your credit card will be charged and the transfer completed.

Now, until the transfer completes you haven't actually been charged, it is likely that the charge is pending awaiting completion.

Have you checked the transaction page? That should tell you when your transfer has been completed.

The amount is missing off of your credit card because the amount is "pending", meaning our system has told your bank that you wish to make a purchase costing $25us, your bank is holding that amount for processing.

If the character is listed as pending that would mean the transaction is still pending. How long has it seen since you initiated the transfer, Arpe?

Did you at any point cancel and re-initiate the transfer, Arpe?

Though the majority of transfers do go through within an hour or less they can take longer. Transfers can take up to 5 days to complete as stated in our FAQ.

If you continue to experience this delay though you are welcome to contact our Billing and Account Services department, they may be able to help you manually.

The number you are calling, Arpe, is our Billing and Account Services department. I need to clarify that point because what is considered "Customer Service" is the Game Master department which provides in-game support. We are unable to address billing issues directly.
