Password reset requested

So.. I just checked my e-mail and I saw a password reset request email from blizzard..

I checked it before clicking the link and it's a legit email.

Brought me to the actual account management site to change it, just asking for my account name and a new password so doesn't seem like it could be a really well done phishing attempt..

Is there any way to see how/who requested this reset?

No, but if you didn't and someone else did - that is worrisome.

Are you referring to the account you are posting under at the moment - I'm not seeing any password notes on this.

Well, malware isn't the only way this can happen, it's just very common.

Social engineering, i.e., phish emails, fake websites, bogus goggle links to fake websites are also rampant and one must be extremely careful that where you go really is where you think you are :)

All it takes is once.

I totally understand, and it pays to be concerned.

An authenticator on the account prevents a lot of these worries as well :)
