Second, I canceled my account a month or so ago due to the new policies/game content a month ago. I decided to give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt to resolve the issues on the next patch.
So to be clear, Here are my issues with Blizzard:
Blizzard is making it a mockery for anyone who raids and advances everytime they make it easier for a casual player to gain superior gear. first it was ToC Now, It's ToC, FoS, PoS, and HoR. People are gaining gear quicker they than learn to actually play. This basically surmounts to a "Don't have high enough DPS? Don't bother learning your class, JUST FARM GEAR/EMBELMS" mentality.
Not to mention the nerfing the game has taken in the past couple years. I had to spend hard earn funds in game and do a LONG quest to gain my Warlock's mount, NOW? Learn A New Spell, Poof, You have A Mount.
The raids are currently geared for 10 and 25 players which is more manageable to PUG then 40. If player's want the better gear, let them work for it much like everyone USE to do.
Enchanting - I have 4 enchanters who (Due to Blizzard's lack of forethought) have been condemned to servitude because now they are being forced to DE items. This gives other people in my parties an advantage of not having to buy my materials, but whats worse is they have the ability to use *MY* profession that I spent time, effort, and gold to level as their skill, due to the fact players in an instance with me now have the same disenchant skill I have. Not to mention alot of people would pass of their roll, giving me a higher likelyhood of winning the item for myself to DE
NOW, that being stated, my new gripe is Blizzard unable to have the forethought to design Dalaran to accommodate a new mount made available. I purchased a Traveler's Tundra Mammoth, great mount except for the fact it doesn't fit into the sewers. In BG's I can't use it in EotS or AV. EotS because of the bubble over the starting area and AV because if the hut Alliance need to pass through to Drek. Yes the mount is a 3 person mount and yes it has vendors, does both those things great, unfortunately it's a lousy mount, all I can do is call upon the mount to use the vendors and then switch to my cat who actually fits where I need to go. And when I report this to a GM and request a refund of the 16k I spent on it I'm told that, it can't be done because there is an achievement and it would give players an advantage to be able to return items that generates an achievement. So lends me to believe once again that Blizzard lacks any forethought in anything they do. Why can't you just delete the achievement?
And then I receive an e-mail message "Thank you for your suggestion". Does that SOUND like a suggestion?
So basically what it boils down to is this:
Thanks for the years of fun, sorry you killed a great game.
