It's time for a Healer Pony

So, the ICC loot table is out and it is quite disapointing (in my opinion, please feel free to suggest otherwise in yours).

The weapons off of Arthas are bad for most healers (crit and MP5... what??). The other weapons in the instance are bad . Trauma is still bad and not what was promised it would be (The crystal spire has similar throughput from it's proc).

The trinkets are bad for most healers as most would rather have double Solace's (although I do know some that like Althor's Abacus for a throughput trinket... But most would would rather Dislodged Foreign Object work off healing spells).

Some of the tier sets are bad, some are good. That is a whole slew of threads unto its own.

But all this leaves me to ask... Where is our (the healer communities) Pony?

When I look to ICC, I see 2 things to look forward too. Killing Arthas and the first PvE Frostwyrm. That's a lot of work for so very little reward. Why should DPS and tanks be the only ones excited for loot? Why should the exciting progress of growing your character be something healers do not get to enjoy as much as other classes?

Please don't let Icecrown be such a disapointment for healer loot/tier sets
Please reconsider the bad Tier bonuses (there are some, like the Shaman 2/4 piece and the Druid 2 piece that are almost universally loved, so please leave those alone).
Please reconsider the trinkets.
Please fix the weapons (a SP/Haste mace would be quite nice).

Thank you.

I do not believe this to be the right approach when trying to communicate with Blizzard. As stated time and again by Ghostcrawler... the second you start to insult Blizz employees or to say they don't care, or play or classes or understand our classes then they lock the threads or just do/say nothing.

Yes. This. Talk about the classes. Almost any time you are talking about Blizzard, you're doing it wrong. This forum is for class feedback and discussion, not company feedback and discussion.

Q u o t e:
I am not deliberately insulting blizzard employees, and I have first hand info on the people who are blizz employees and play the game. I also know through experience and basic conjecture via statistics that there simply are not very many "healer at heart" type of people in the general population, and likely not that many among game developers who are often T types rather than F types on the Myers-Briggs spectrum. Highly empathic individuals are drawn to healing as far as I can tell. It is not an insult, merely an observation.

I've healed for years. PvP and PvE. So have many of the class designers. /Tinfoil hat.
