I get an email almost twice a week about "recent changes" to my account regarding my password. Something that says, "Greetings! This is an automated Notification reguarding the recent change(s) made to your World of Warcraft account. Your password has recently been modified through the Password Recovery website" etc etc. I've always disregarded these because I have an authenticator and was never worried about it.
Now, I recently got an email with the subject saying exactly, "Worldofwarfraft Account Seaech."
"Greetings, an investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account in question i being sold or traded." etc etc and refers to the EULA agreements etc.
I also recieved a URL, "www.battle.net/account/support/login-support.xml"
I would like to know if this is is real stuff because for one, the subject looked horribly incorrect and everytime I try to visit that link to verify that I'm the original owner, the page doesn't load.
I've tried to access it from home, from work, my phone; the page deoes not load.
I've also called billing and account services and was basically hung up on by an automated operator because of high call volumes.
Any ideas on what I should do or should I sit back and hope my account doesn't get banned?
